Team: Nekoma High School Age: 15 Height: 194 cm Weight: 79,7 kg Birthday: October 30th Year: 1st Year Position: Middle Blocker  Lev is a half Russian, half Japanese. However he says he doesn't speak Russian because he was born and raised in Japan. His name in Russian means lion. Lev wasn't around when Karasuno and Nekoma had their first match together. He started playing volleyball in high school, that's why he was still a novice and spent whole time on bench at that time so he didn't come. Lev is blessed with natural physical ability, intuition and height. He declares that he's an ace even though he's a middle blocker. Kenma states that Lev is a good and honest guy.  Lev is quite childish and cheerful, shown when he was making fun of Hinata's height. Lev's appearance, as well as his piercing eyes, causes people to believe he is much more intimidating and serious than he actually is. Though he can be blunt, he never seems to mean any harm and adopts a playful attitude towards most things. He is quiet and reserved and does not voice his opinions often since he is afraid of how others would think of them. He isn't the type who can make friends easily, and his only friend back when he was younger had been Tetsurou Kuroo. Akaashi seems calm and composed most of the time, and doesn't show a wide range of emotions. He tends to call people out on the foolish things they do, especially Bokuto, who he seems to be relatively close with despite their opposite personalities.  Opposed to being shy, Akaashi is very blunt in the things he says and is not afraid to show his opinions. He is polite to a certain extent, however, owing to his polite manner of speaking. Keiji Akaashi

Team: Karasuno High Age: 17 Height: 184.7 cm Weight: 75.2 kg Birthdate: January 1 Year: 3rd year, class 3 Number: 3 Position: Wing Spiker Favorite Food: Tonkotsu Ramen Ability Parameters (out of 5): Power = 5; jump = 3; stamina = 3; intellect = 3; technique = 3; speed = 2  In contrast to his appearance, he is rather quiet and gentle and has his difficulties realizing that he is Karasuno's ace as he initially doesn't feel that way. He shows to be weak-willed at the beginning when he leaves the team before the first years come, feeling that he let down his entire team when they lost against Date Tech High even though they counted on him. After coming back to Karasuno, he realizes that his will to play volleyball is much stronger than he thought and with the help of his teammates, he acknowledges his position as Karasuno's ace (even though he is still mocked sometimes by Daichi for not having any "ace-like presence") and gains self-confidence.  Asahi is said to have a "Heart of Glass", taking everything that is said about him to heart and reacting depressed because of it at times. While he still feels insecure about a lot of things and seems to be quite a scaredy-cat, he clearly states that he has no intention of letting anyone take his ace position away from him in later chapters, showing his development from the beginning. Asahi Azumane

Team: Fukurodani Academy Age: 17 Birthday: September 20 Height: 185.3 cm (6'1") Weight: 78.3 kg Year: 3rd Year, Class 1 Number: 4 Position: Wing Spiker Favourite food: Yakiniku!! Current concern: ……how d'you spell “concern”?? Ability Parameters (out of 5): Power = 5; jump = 4; stamina = 5; intellect = 3; technique = 3; speed = 4  Bokuto Koutaro is a 3rd year Captain and Wing Spiker of Fukurodani Volleyball Team. Together with Kuroo, he teaches Tsukishima Kei Volleyball despite the fact that Karasuno High is a formidable opponent.  He has a playful, energetic and child-like personality and is described by his team as having mood swings, where even the slightest thing can change his mood which then impacts his performance. He is often referred to as 'simple-minded' because of this, but is both admired by his own team and the opponents for his impressive skills and morale-boosting demeanor.  When he makes a comeback, he clearly shows his pride as the ace and believes he is the 'strongest'. Bokuto is energetic (similar to Hinata), often making jokes about everything and acting rather dramatically about his plays. His personality is so compatible that he gets along with many people. Koutarou Bokuto

Team: Karasuno High Age: 16 Height: 175.4 cm Weight: 66.4 kg Birthday: December 26 Number: 6 Year: 2nd year, class 4 Position: Wing Spiker Favorite Food: Vinegared sea pineapple Current Concern: Even when he's really fired up, people still tell him he looks sleepy  Ennoshita seems quiet and reserved but can behave boldly towards the other 2nd years. He's smart and hasn't received a failing mark before. Similarly to Sugawara, he is always smiling. He's supposedly the only one within the 2nd years to be able to control Tanaka and Nishinoya. He's also able to understand different people, as stated a few times by Tanaka and when he knew what to do to give Yamaguchi some courage before his jump float serve.  (Source: Haikyuu!! Wikia)

Following their participation at the Inter-High, the Karasuno High School volleyball team attempts to refocus their efforts, aiming to conquer the Spring tournament instead. 

When they receive an invitation from long-standing rival Nekoma High, Karasuno agrees to take part in a large training camp alongside many notable volleyball teams in Tokyo and even some national level players. By playing with some of the toughest teams in Japan, they hope not only to sharpen their skills, but also come up with new attacks that would strengthen them. Moreover, Hinata and Kageyama attempt to devise a more powerful weapon, one that could possibly break the sturdiest of blocks. 

Facing what may be their last chance at victory before the senior players graduate, the members of Karasuno's volleyball team must learn to settle their differences and train harder than ever if they hope to overcome formidable opponents old and new—including their archrival Aoba Jousai and its world-class setter Tooru Oikawa.
