Sanrio Anime Sekai Meisaku Gekijou

Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters star in adaptations of various fairy tales from all over the world.

This mischievous little guy doesn’t like anything but himself, and he doesn’t mind saying so. So good at being bad! (But a nice guy deep down?) In Japanese "badtz" (batsu) is a term for "X", the cross signifying a wrong answer. "Maru" means circle or "O", and signifies a correct answer. Thus, his name literally means "wrong-correct," and is frequently represented by "XO". Badtz-Maru has many different facial expressions and poses, but he is classically recognized for pulling one eye down and sticking out his tongue, a gesture akin to sticking out one's tongue. The Cinnamoangels were a group of trendy doggos formed by Mocha (Born in February 20), Chiffon (Born in January 14) and Azuki (Born in September 25). The founder of the group Mocha, has big dreams on becoming a TV idol as both Azuki and Chiffon supports her in her dreams to come true. The three were created by Sanrio in 2005.

Daniel and Kitty have known each other since they were babies, but he went to Africa with his father who is a photographer. After traveling the globe, Daniel finally left from New York to return to meet Kitty again. He still hasn’t lost any of his dancing skills!

Keroppi is a frog who loves adventure, and his bubbly personality makes him popular around Donut Pond. He has a brother called Koroppi and a sister called Pikki. My Melody, the main protagonist of the series, is a rabbit from the forest of Mari Land. Throughout the show, she is shown wearing a pink hood that also covers her ears. With adequate cooking ability, My Melody is the one who prepares meals for Uta and her family. Her nickname is My Melo.  The magic that comes from her tact can only be used as an antidote to Kuromi's spell. When she waves the tact, a small heart sticker attaches to an object and brings it to life. The animated object then helps to reverse the effects of Kuromi's magic. Sometimes, the animated object won't be able to perform the specific task it needs to. My Melo will then smile at it sweetly and say, "[object name] Onegai?" ("[object name] Please?"). This causes the enchanted object's power to intensify, sometimes increasing its size. Surprisingly, even Kuromi has become one of the things Melody used her magic on which was seen in one episode.  As a very cheerful individual, My Melo is never seen angry. She can be a bit scatterbrained and oblivious to things though. She also doesn't seem to have any affections for anybody the way Kuromi and Uta have for Keichi, although she is quite fond of Usamimi Kamen.  To travel from place to place, My Melo uses a pink umbrella which enables her to fly. This was until Kuromi stole and used it to go to Mari Land. Since then, she started sharing with Flat's umbrella. She regains it back in the second season though.  She has two magical items. The first one is the Melody Takt, which she uses to cast magic by waving it like a maestro's baton. In ~Kurukuru Shuffle!~, the Melody Tact was upgraded into the Hyper Melody Takt by the king, but in Sukkiriâ™ª, it was destroyed in the final battle, making it useless, although it was repaired a short time later by the Melody Box. The second is the Heart and Star Pendant, which appeared in Onegai My Melody Kiraraâ˜…, My Melody uses it to do magic along with Kirara. 

My Melody

Pochacco is drawn as a white dog with black floppy ears, but no visible mouth. He is often dressed in athletic attire, as he has a sporty and playful personality. He is a vegetarian, he loves carrots, but his favorite food is banana ice cream. Pochacco is a curious and clumsy little guy who sometimes sticks his nose in where it isn't wanted. Like most dogs, Pochacco loves going for walks.   Pochacco's name means "pocha pocha" (chubby). Pochacco was born on February 29, 1989 (a leap year) in Fuwafuwa Town. Pochacco can't walk straight. Even when he tries, he keeps tottering from side to side. He can walk on two legs, but he trips up and falls over every now and then. Pochacco loves spring. In fact, one of his favorite flowers is a pink flower called "rengeso". Pochacco's dream is to fill his tummy with banana ice cream (so he likes summer too). Although Pochacco has a lot of animal friends, recently he has been hanging out with Choppy the mouse, his best friend.

Hello Kitty was born on November 1st and she lives in London, England with her parents and her twin sister, Mimmy. They have lots of friends at school with whom they share many adventures. Her hobbies include traveling, music, reading, eating yummy cookies her sister Mimmy bakes, and best of all making new friends. As Hello Kitty always says, you can never have too many friends.

Cinnamoroll, born on March 6, 2002 on a cloud far up in the sky, is a white puppy with long ears that enable him to fly, blue eyes, and a plump and curly tail that resembles a cinnamon roll.He starred in his own anime movie which was released in Winter 2007.   Cinnamoroll's real name is Cinnamon. One day, the owner of Cafe Cinnamon, a little cafe, looked up to see a white puppy floating out of the sky like a fluffy cloud. â€œI wonder if he came because he smelled my cinnamon rolls.â€� She thought. He had a curly tail just like a cinnamon roll, so she called him Cinnamon.
