Jewelpet Sunshine

In Sunshine Academy, there is a class of lost causes known as "the leftovers", the Plum class. Ruby and Kanon Mizushirou navigate through high school life in a fantastical world while juggling their warped friendship with their crush on Mikage Shiraishi.

Also one of Ruby's classmates in the Plum Section, Shouko is a bit of a favorable girl who sometimes has a tomboyish personality and likes candies. Sometimes has a lollipop on her mouth, she is friends with Charlotte and Waniyama, who sometimes disagrees with Ruby on some things. She is shown to have a banchou-like personality, very competitive during races and also has a bit of a bitter tongue since the first grade. Although she usually gets punished for cleaning duties, she is an expert on riding motorcycles and motorized scooters and always keeps her promises. Despite of her harsh behavior, she sometimes shows her softer side towards some things like Rald or her crush towards Master.  (Source: Wikipedia)  

Shouko Aizawa

Ruby's classmate in the Plum Section and supporter, Hinata also comes from the Human World to study at the Sunshine Academy. She is the only person who can understand Ruby well, despite being confused on some situations. She is very shy, timid and is not good at sports. But she is supportive to her classmates, especially to Ruby as she is the more rationale of the three. She is also Ruby's former roommate, before she moved to Peridot in the same dormitory and even due to her being timid, she became active in sports thanks to her. Her favorite items were T-shirts. Hinata Asaka

Garnet is a Persian cat who symbolizes Love. She is friends with Ruby and Sapphie and the most fashionable of the three.  Her fur is pink with a white chest fluff and two furry points sticking out at the edge of her ears. Her eyes are made of garnets. She wears a red ribbon on her head and a pink jewel necklace on her neck.  Garnet is very girly in terms of personality: sassy, tough, likes the colour pink and cute stuff and sometimes hates really bad men. This personality is somewhat toned down in Jewelpet Twinkle but brought back when Sunshine aired, thought also known to be stylish and bold. this personalty was carried over to the next series: Kira Deco. Unlike her personality in Sunshine, Garnet is more described as a rich person and sometimes assisted by people. In happiness, she is more of a hardworker.  Other than her magic skills, Garnet demonstrate good special skills regarding fashion, knowing which clothing is good for the wearer or choosing a good dress. Sometimes this overwhelms her overall personality. As shown in Sunshine, Garnet also has a good knowledge in sewing her own clothes and works for the Strawberry Cafe on her part time job.  Garnet's magic skills were in the "Glass Class" ranking, on which her magic can have a success rate of 50%. She herself earned the Crystal Class in the later episodes in the first series. She can also wield a miniaturized version of the Jewel Stick for her magic or with Ruby and Sapphie, to summon other Jewelpets from Jewel Land.  Garnet also possesses a Jewel Pod as well. In Kira Deco, its decorated with lots of jewels which matches her personality. But she also uses it to cast her magic spells.  Garnet first appeared in the very first episode alongside the other Jewelpets, being turned into a Jewel Charm so she can rest in the Dream Forest. However like the others, she is been lost in the human world when the charms were spilled.  Her formal debut however is in Episode 2. When Minami is crying about the fact she can't confess her love to Hisashi Miyamotto, Garnet's Jewel Charm appeared from her tears. Ruby stated that Garnet's power is love and it can be used as an advantage, as Rinko and Ruby used their magic and turn her back into her pet form. However when she looked at her new partner, she harshly refuses due to she was sweaty and stubbornly runs away. Rinko, Ruby and Minami decides to search for her around town and finds her resting at the top of a tree. Rinko tries to climb up the tree in persuasion to make Garnet use her magic, saying that Minami once protected her when she was a kindergarderner and made her happy. Not knowing she still has fear of heights, Rinko fainted and Ruby came to save her. In persuation to make Garnet use her magic, Minami took her back to her home and she sees Minami's room covered in pink. In agreement, Garnet uses her magic and Miyamato comes and eats Okonomiyaki, agreeing to join the group.  (Source: Jewelpet Wikia)

Garnet

Labra is Akari's secondary Jewelpet partner, a pink and white Polar Bear cub with blue heart-shaped paws and heart-shaped ears who symbolizes mischief. She wears a necklace shaped like a multi-colored planet resembling Saturn. Originally debuting in the first season as a baby Jewelpet born by using Rakumajo's magic, she's a genius child who has the Super Crystal Class ranking, which means that all of her magic is very successful.   In Jewelpet Tinkle, Labra is a young prankster and loves making jokes in Jewel Land, especially to Ruby, but sometimes gets scared and cries a lot, which can cause powerful magical shock-waves that can destroy anything nearby, even statues. She became Akari's second Jewelpet partner and plays a major role in Akari's story along with Ruby.   Her birthday is on December 27th and her name is based on the mineral Labradorite. Labra

Ruby's classmate and the main heroine of the series. She comes from the human world to study at the Sunshine Academy to achieve her dream. She can be very posh, mean, and nasty. Having a rather warped friendship with Ruby, she sometimes gets into serious arguments with her, to the point of trying to rip each other apart on one occasion. But in the end, both she and the Jewelpet reconcile with each other and sometimes even cooperate with each other in the worst situations thrown at them. She has a habit of writing love letters and has a crush on Mikage.   

Kanon Mizushiro

Birthday: August 3  Peridot is also one of the original Jewelpets of Season 1, she's a yellow and green Papillon who symbolizes dream fulfillment. She wears a hairclip shaped like a butterfly, and a yellow and green flower garland around her neck. Debuting in Episode 12, she's the Gajin of all the residents of Jewel Land. She's popular, energetic and an English Speaker, who sometimes says some English words because of her bilingual skills. She's also one of the owners of the "Strawberry Cafe" in both Jewel Land and on Earth along with Milky and Luna.  In Jewelpet Tinkle, she's one of the three assistant Jewelpets of Halite who has the ability to see through someone's dreams, especially when she noticed on how not sure what Akari's dream is. Peridot

Ruby is Rinko and Akari's Jewelpet partner and the secondary heroine of the series. She is a White Japanese Hare who symbolizes courage and wears a pink and red cherry blossom on her head. She also wears a necklace shaped like a pair of red cherries. Ruby is the only Jewelpet who has the "Acrylic Class" ranking due to her magic, which can cause bad luck and explosions when she casts it to someone but sometimes her magic has 1% chance of success. Due to her bad behavior, in-attendance and goofing off, she was punished by the Four Witches of Jewel Land, turning her into a Jewel Charm and sent her to Earth to find all of her lost friends. Her Jewel Charm form fell into Rinko's drinking glass on that night and then being awakened by Rinko's Magic using the Jewel Pocketbook the next day. Her personality is a bit joyful, brash, happy and sometimes a BIG troublemaker, which makes her partner Rinko have a hard time handling her. Despite all of this, she and Rinko were appointed to find the other missing Jewelpets on Earth and handling every problem her partner encounters.  It's revealed that Ruby is the ancestor of the savior of both the Human World and Jewel Land along with Rinko's Ancestor. She has a big crush on Tooru the American shorthair cat and sometimes called "Romper Lady" by him. in Episode 51, She earned her "Superior Crystal Class" rank in magic and summoned Opal the unicorn in the final battle against Dark Dian. But then she found out that it was temporary as she is now back as an Acrylic Class Jewelpet. In Jewelpet Tinkle, Ruby is a new Student in the Magic Academy. Her first test to get in is to find a Human Partner on Earth, which happens after she met Akari. After that, she got accepted in the academy along with Akari. Her birthday is on July 29th and her name is based on the Gemstone Ruby.  Ruby can also use the Jewel Pocketbook to awaken Jewelpets from their jewel forms. She can also wield a miniaturized version of the Jewel Stick for her magic or with Garnet and Sapphy, to summon other Jewelpets from Jewel Land. She has also the ability to summon Opal. In Season 2, Ruby is the only Jewelpet who can use the Jewel Pot while she and Rabura can cast magic together with Akari during some situations in Jewel Land.  (Source: Wikipedia)

Ruby

Sango's appearance is a yellow tabby cat with brown stripes and scarlet Jewel Eyes. She wears a red ribbon with a white flower on her head and a jewel necklace shaped like a strawberry on her neck. She carries a ribbon in the first series.   Sango tends to be rather dimwitted and easygoing. Her love of sweets and desserts is one of her trademarks, but it wasn't present in the first season.   In Jewelpet, Sango made her first Debut on Episode 31 during the culture festival. When Lyrica Himeno admitted she can't be too high for herself, her Jewel Charm appeared in front of her and Rinko Kougyoku and Ruby awakened her for the first time. Sango used her magic and made her into a Matadora. But later that didn't work. After that Sango finds her magic expired because she can't reach the footprint made by Diana's Dark Magic. They find out the footprint was actually on her foot. Sango again uses her magic again to purify her and everything was back on track in the same time Lyrica admitting her mistakes.  In Jewelpet Twinkle, Sango is one of Miria Marigold Mackenzie's two Jewelpet partners, alongside Garnet in the beginning of the series. Before the events of the series, she met the two of them while being home alone which made Miria into a magician.  In Jewelpet Sunshine, Sango is a member of the Rose class. She is frequently seen dangling from the shoulder of Jill Konia, her teacher. She is Komachi's roommate, with whom she shares her love of sweets. She gets a robot version of herself, like Garnet, which was revealed in episode 48, when she was brainwashed by the Dark Queen. She challenges Garnet's robot. She has a brief crush on Jasper.  In Jewelpet Kira Deco, Sango has no role in this series, but she made her short appearance. Like in Episode 1. She was seen walking with Nephrite at the side of the Kira-Kira Shop of Ruby's. That happened while Garnet was talking to Ruby.  In Jewelpet Happiness, Sango is a school nurse who's seen curing Marie Hanazono and Garnet. She makes a Magic Gem with Sakuran and Rosa.  In Jewelpet the Movie: Sweet Dance Princess, Sango is one of the Jewelpet to enter Sweets land together with Ruby, Labra, Angela, Garnet, Sapphie, Charotte and Jasper. Like Gumimin, Sango likes sweets so much. But Gumimin likes more at the most. Unlike Gumimin, Sango can't turn into a monster for eating sweets. It's because Gumimin has gone far enough. When what looks to be a cluster of shooting stars appear in the sky, Rinko Kougyoku and her friend Minami each make a wish.
What the girls truly saw were not stars, but 'Jewel Charms' falling to the Earth. These charms were created by three magicians in a magical world names Jewel Land, each housing one of its many native Jewelpets. Although these creatures are free to roam the world in their original form, the magicians sometimes turn them into charms so that they can be carried around with great ease. Most Jewelpets don't find this troublesome, but once a mischievous bunny by the name of Ruby feels overly claustrophobic, she devises her escape.
One day, the magicians decide to move the Jewelpets, and task a pelican with delivering them to the Dream Forest. All is well until a strong gust of wind disorients the bird, who then drops all of the charms that he was carrying. Instead of heading towards the Dream Forest, all the Jewelpets but Ruby fall to Rinko’s home city on Earth. Someone must go and retrieve them all, and as Ruby was the worst-behaved of the bunch, she is given the task of going to Earth.
When Ruby reaches Earth in the form of a red Jewel Charm, she falls into Rinko’s water glass, and thus begins a rather unexpected adventure. Rinko, Minami, and Ruby form an alliance to search and gather all of the fallen charms, encountering strange creatures and tons of helpful allies along the way. Will they be able to succesfully bring the Jewelpets home safely, or is Earth full of more danger than they had expected? 

Jewelpet Magical Change

The story follows the adventures of rabbit-shaped Jewelpet Ruby, her long-best human friend Airi Kirara and the other Jewelpets on their mission to restore the Jewel Castle, which had fallen from the skies into the middle of the town because of humanity's lack of faith in magic. To restore people's belief in magic, Jewelpets transform into humans to study more about them.

In Jewel Land, Jewelpets, creatures who has the natural ability to use magic lived in harmony with the Witches, attending the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to learn to use magic with their Jewel Eyes. However for Ruby, a white Japanese Hare whose magic sometimes fail, is appointed to go to the Human World to search for her partner. But when she used the card the magicians gave her, she was sent to the Human World by accident. In the Human World, A girl named Akari Sakura met her on the beach on her way to school. At first, Akari can't understand her due to her Jewel Land Language until Ruby took a special candy so she could speak and understand human language. As the day passes, Ruby knew about her problems and later apologized. A Jewel Charm appeared on Akari's hand and she realized it that she's chosen by Ruby to be her partner. After that, she decided to enter the Jewel Star Grand Prix, on the prize is that any wish that they wanted will be granted. Will she be the Next Jewel Star and her wish be granted in the end? Or It'll just end in one big disaster...

Jewelpet Kira☆Deco!

In the Legends of Jewel Land, the Jewelpets were born from the love and caring of their queen, Jewelina. However a strange meteor crashes into the Mirror Ball, destroying it into a million pieces and its fragments called "Deco Stones" were all scattered in Jewel Land. In the present time, Ruby, a dimwitted Rabbit Jewelpet and owner of the Kira Kira Shop, has a thing on sparkly decorations and loves to collect anything that sparkles and shines. However, when she and the others learn about the legend of the Mirror Ball and the Deco Stones, they all decided to go and search for them, until they all meet 5 strange individuals called the KiraDeco 5. The group also has the same goal on wanting to collect the Deco Stones and they befriended the Jewelpets, especially to one of their members: Pink Oomiya. Now, the group need to gather all the Deco Stones and stop the Eternal Darkness from taking over the human world.
