Son of a Yakuza family. He's intelligent but not an adept fighter. He likes sweet things, wants to marry a Yamato Nadeshiko and says he's the kind of person who has to do it absolutely correctly when he puts his mind into something otherwise he can't be satisfied.  Raku once got amnesia. He tried to save Chitoge from a wild ball that unintentionally aimed for her head. Unfortunately, it hit his head mercilessly. He was unconscious and then woke up a second later. He did not recognize anyone, even though all of his friend were beside him. He became a really sincere person. He charmed everyone who talked to him—even Chitoge, Tsugumi, Tachibana, and of course Onodera. During his amnesia period, he stayed at Chitoge's mansion. After some quarrel with Chitoge, it seemed like he hinted about the one who holds a key. It was also unclear though because he immediately regained his memory. The hint regarding the girl who holds the key to his locket is "the girl's eyes were either brown or black but not blue."   In the end, Raku realises that he has feelings for Chitoge, rather than Onodera. While Onodera confesses to him, and turns out to be the girl of the promise, he rejects her confession. He tells Chitoge that he loves her, and she confirms that their feelings are both mutual.

Raku Ichijou

Yui is a childhood friend of Raku as well as his current homeroom teacher. She is also the head of the Chinese mafia group, Char Siu.  Yui also possesses a supposed key to Raku's locket, making her the fourth girl that Raku allegedly made a promise to when he was younger. (Source: Nisekoi Wikia)

Chitoge is very smart and completely fluent in both English and Japanese despite growing up in America. She is half-Japanese. She is somewhat forgetful, aggressive and quick to attack someone who gets on her nerves. Once you get to know her though, she becomes very talkative and friendly.  She is very bad at cooking because she never measures ingredients and adds random things she thinks will make the dish taste better. She is very athletic as she can easily jump over the school's walls and swim 25 meters in a couple of seconds.  Ever since she was a child she has had a hard time making friends as others were afraid of her gangster family and as a result she had a cold demeanor toward people at the start of the series due to Claude's over protectiveness. This led her to create notebooks filled with information on classmates in an attempt to make friends.  The red ribbon in her hair is a first gift from her mother. She really loves it and always wears it instead of another ribbon; however, her relationship between her mother is getting cold because her mother is really busy woman who leads a ton of companies. Raku knows it well and tries to break the ice during the Christmas eve. Finally her mother notices that Chitoge doesn't hate her even though she never pays attention to her.  In the manga, she gradually starts to fall in love with Raku because of his kindness although she does not show it. She has a gentle spot for Raku (sometimes).  Later in the manga, her father is looking at an old photo album from 10 years ago. It has been revealed that Chitoge had brown eyes when she was younger and turned blue as she grew up. Chitoge Kirisaki

Age: 15-17 Birthday: June 15 Height: 157 cm Likes: Raku Ichijou, animals Abilities: Natural Affinity for Animals, Japanese sweets decoration  She is one of the main characters in the manga series Nisekoi. She is shown to have a crush on Raku Ichijou, the male protagonist of Nisekoi, and is also the only girl that Ichijou openly has feelings for.   Onodera is discreet, innocent, and slightly timid. She is very kind, she takes care of Ichijou when he is wounded or ill. Generally, she opts to think carefully before acting, as seen when she stalls her confession to Ichijou in consideration that he may have feelings for Kirisaki.  In confrontation with Ichijou, Onodera lacks confidence, initially needing encouragement from Miyamoto to attempt confessing her love.  Onodera works well with her classmates, possessing close friends and being the most popular girl for the boys before Kirisaki transferred and after Kirisaki and Ichijou allegedly began dating.   Both Kosaki and Ichijou are completely unaware that the feelings they hold for each other are mutual. Like in many average fictional love stories, these two try not to show their feelings to each other. She loves Raku because he is kind and caring. Just like the other girls who like him, she can be jealous as well but not to the point of having bloodlust. She often worries/wonders whether Raku and Chitoge's "fake relationship" is actually developing into something more than just that.   Chitoge and Onodera have a really trusting relationship. It can even be considered that they are best friends since Chitoge only tells her problems to her (except in some cases, Raku as well). Despite her knowing that Chitoge and Raku are only pretending to date, she at times can't help but be suspicious of their relationship.   It is revealed at the end of the manga that she is in fact the girl that Raku promised to marry as a child. Kosaki Onodera

She is a classmate and friend of Haru Onodera.

Suzu Ayakaji

Although Shuu appears to be playful, he is actually very sensitive. He was the first one who realized that Chitoge and Ichijou were not actually dating. Also, he was the only one who seemed to realize that Tsugumi was a girl, though he hid the thought and decided to play along just for his own amusement. Also, it should be noted that Shuu is the kind of person that would do almost anything for a laugh. He is the best friend of Raku Ichijou.  He is in love with his English teacher, Kyoko. He confesses just before her departure for her wedding.

Shuu Maiko

Age: 16 Height: 140 Birthday: December 24  Ruri is Kosaki's best friend, and is one of the few people who knew about her feelings for Raku. She constantly tries to help Kosaki admit her feelings for Raku often giving her a push from behind to take the next step forward.  In chapter 223, Ruri confesses to Shuu after realizing how amazing he was.

Ruri Miyamoto

Kosaki's sister who is a school year younger. On her way to school, she is saved from some delinquents by a mysterious prince (actually Raku Ichijou) and ends up with his locket. Her first impression of Raku is negative as she observes that he is a womanizer who is trying to trick her sister and he is a pervert for looking at her panties. She also refuses to return his locket until Raku convinces her that he is helping the "prince." Unlike her sister, she is a good cook. She later reveals that she was helped by a guy in a mascot costume (also Raku) who treats her to ice cream.  Later, she nurtures some feelings of love for Raku, but she later backs off, since she finds out that her sister, Kosaki, also has feelings for him. Instead, she decides to support her sister, despite her strong feelings for him.

Raku has separate dreams of having a married life with Kosaki, Marika, Seishirou and Chitoge, whom each also share the same dream with Raku.

Magical Pâtissière Kosaki-chan!!

Magical princess and ruler of the Land of Magic, Yui Kanakura, tasks Kosaki and her comrades to exterminate Doctor Maiko for good. During their last stand, Yui provides the girls with more protective yet skimpier outfits to shield themselves against Doctor Maiko's attacks. However as Doctor Maiko proves to be impervious as well, sage Rurin steps in and easily defeats Doctor Maiko. With peace restored and back to their everyday lives, Rurin surprisingly appears before Kosaki assigning her with a new task and 'transforms' her in the middle of her class, appearing naked before her classmates.
