Pokemon: Pikachu, Kore Nan no Kagi?

A thrilling tale in which a group of innocent pokemon get sucked into a world full of keys only to find themselves trapped. Will they ever escape?

Meowth is unusual among other Pokémon for its ability to speak like humans. During the earlier episodes of the series, Meowth liked to think he was somewhat in charge of the group, and was responsible for many of its plans and objectives.  Most of Meowth’s background story is explained in the anime episode "Go West, Young Meowth". Meowth came to Hollywood on the back of a truck after seeing a film called "That Darn Meowth" dreaming of good food as seen in the film. He eventually joined a gang of stray Meowth led by a Persian. One day, he fell in love with a female Meowth who let him know that she preferred being with humans to being with a street Pokémon. To impress her, Meowth learned to walk and speak so as to be as much like a human as possible. Afterwards, however, the female Meowth looked down on him even more than before. After Meowth joined Team Rocket, she was abandoned by her owner, and joined the same gang that Meowth left. Ultimately, she fell for the Persian that led the gang.  Meowth is an integral part of the team, counting Jessie and James as his only real friends, but he is often excluded from the rapport between the two. When he lured Pikachu to their side in an episode, he seemed to have his own agenda as to what to do with it. Often, he explains why they should capture the main Pokémon of a particular episode, by indulging in an unrealistic fantasy of Giovanni’s reaction to their success, such as in, "Beg, Burrow, and Steal", when he suggests stealing Trapinch so Giovanni can use him to crack walnuts. It is possible this is an unhealthy coping mechanism, as James comments that these fantasies proved Meowth had "officially lost it".  Meowth is essentially the "brains of the outfit" and appears to come up with the majority of the team’s plans; he seems to share his species’ thematic association with money, often being the one most concerned with practical issues such as the dismal state of the team’s finances. Because of this, Meowth is usually the one who operates Team Rocket’s Pokémon-stealing machinery, working in the background while Jessie and James confront the protagonists. Starting in the Johto season, Meowth learned to pick locks to aid their criminal lifestyle. He is also skilled at piloting the Team Rocket hot-air balloon (and other getaway vehicles). Among other things, he is also able to sing, dance, read, and write - skills that Pokémon rarely possess. Being able to understand what Pokémon as well as humans are saying, Meowth also often translates their speech for Jessie, James and other characters.  Meowth was shown to care greatly for Misty's Togepi when it was an egg. He willingly battles for the right to raise it, and wishes Togepi happiness with its new owner. Later on he was infatuated by May's Skitty, and helped her escape, contrary to Jessie's plans. He has also remarked that if he had met Pikachu under different circumstances, they might have been friends. On occasion, Meowth befriends other Pokémon (usually ones that are outcasts like him) but by the end of the episode he is separated from his new companions. He also seems to have a good relationship with Jessie and James' Pokémon.  In Pokémon Yellow, Meowth is one of the Pokémon that the player must defeat when fighting Jessie and James. This however runs contrary to the anime as he, unlike most Pokémon, is not trained or owned by either Jessie or James and rarely battles.  One of the trophies in Super Smash Bros. Melee is "Team Rocket's Meowth". When viewed, it says that Meowth's dream is to become a rock star. This dream was also shown in one of the Japanese ending songs as well as a special CD released only in Japan. The plot of one Pokémon short revolved around him throwing a concert for his fellow Pokémon.  In Pokémon Channel Team Rocket's Meowth acts like an emcee or newscaster. Nyarth

Pikachu is an Electric Type mouse Pokemon given to Satoshi (Ash in the English version) as a last choice since he was late getting to Professor Oak's lab the day he was to be given his first Pokemon. At first Pikachu avoided Satoshi, shocking him every time he had a chance. He soon warms up to Satoshi after he saves him from wild Spearows. These two soon grow a bond stronger than any others. Pikachu does not like to be kept inside his Pokeball, and is usually seen riding on Satoshi/Ash's shoulder as they travel together.

Pikachu

Clemont is the Gym Leader of Lumiose City and, with his sister Bonnie, meets Ash when the gym mechanisms malfunction and almost kill Ash. He seems very caring toward his sister. He is known for making numerous inventions, including the Aipom Arm on his back. He joins Ash after the Lumiose Gym at Prism Tower gets damaged, but Ash doesn't know his true vocation until they return to Lumiose City. He has left the gym under the control of a robot he created, but has promised to battle Ash himself when he has four badges. Citron

Bonnie is Clemont's sister and joins him in his travels in order to help him find a wife. She also holds onto the various Pokémon that Clemont uses, and is easily excited by new Pokémon.  (Source: serebii.net)  Bonnie is very caring, as seen when she looks after her brother's Pokémon. Whenever Bonnie see's a Pokémon that she wants, she asks her brother, Clemont to "hold onto" it for her until she is old enough to become a trainer. Bonnie most notable takes care of Clemont's Dedenne which can usually be seen riding in her small purse. Clemont has promised to hold onto it for Bonnie until she's old enough to have Pokémon of her own. Then Dedenne will become Bonnie's partner. Bonnie frequently embarrasses Clemont whenever she see's a woman who she deems worthy of "taking care of" her brother (which means marrying him), to which Clemont reacts by lifting Bonnie up with his Aipom Arm, and apologizing to the women. Although Bonnie is the younger sister, she feels compelled to watch over her older brother in ways like this.   (Source: myanimelist.net user)

Ash Ketchum, known as Satoshi in Japan, is a fictional character and protagonist of the anime Pokémon. There are also incarnations of him in the Electric Tale of Pikachu manga, the Pocket Monsters Zensho manga, and the Ash &amp; Pikachu manga. He is loosely based on the male protagonist of the Pokémon Red and Blue. The family name "Ketchum" is a pun of the anime's former tagline and slogan "Gotta catch 'em all!".  At the beginning of the series, Ash was 10 years old, and later, in the episode "The Battle Of The Badge", Ash said that it was a whole year since he and Pikachu had visited Viridian City, making him 11. Furthermore, in the short called "Pikachu &amp; Pichu" which was attached to Pokémon 3: The Movie, he said the day when the events depicted in the short took place was the day he met Pikachu, meaning his age at that time would be at least 12. However, two seasons later, the official Japanese Pokémon website reported that Ash was the same age as May, who was 10 years old at the time. This and the fact that the two are at the same height suggests that none of the characters have aged since the show began, placing the Pokemon anime in a floating timeline.  Ash is a caring and valiant trainer but he can be confident to the point of arrogance and is known for being stubborn at times. He also has quite the reckless streak, which has led him to troublesome situations and even near death. But when in a Pokémon battle, he is highly competitive, and he shows tremendous presence of mind, taking advantage of the battlefield as well the nature of his and the enemy Pokémon's moves to claim victory after victory, though he has been known to lose from time to time.  Ash has matured greatly over the course of the series, and has considerably improved his abilities as a trainer, but his earnestness and determination remain the same. During the first season of the series, Ash trained to catch more Pokémon than his childhood rival, Gary Oak, although Gary has caught more. He soon begins to focus more on each of his Pokémon's abilities. He also impresses many trainers by winning battles in which his Pokémon has a type disadvantage. At the Johto League Silver Conference Ash finally won a battle against Gary.  Throughout the anime, Ash has met a number of rivals, including Richie, whom he faced in the Indigo League, and Casey, a diehard Electabuzz fanatic. During Pokémon tournaments, Ash has made rivals out of Harrison, Jackson, Morrison, and Tyson (the last of which went on to become the champion of the Hoenn Pokémon league). Near the beginning of Pokémon: Diamond &amp; Pearl, Ash meets an arrogant young trainer named Paul, who quickly becomes his new rival.  Ash's primary nemesis is a group of comical antagonists named Team Rocket. Ever since the second episode, "Pokémon Emergency!", two Team Rocket operatives named Jessie and James, along with a talking Meowth, have always tried to steal his first Pokémon Pikachu but have always failed. There are some occasions when they work together like the Pokémon: The Movie 2000.  Ash's mother is Delia Ketchum (Hanako in Japan). She is a caring and thoughtful woman, though occasionally oblivious as her son, and in the English version of the anime often pesters him to change his boxer shorts every day, a gag throughout the early episodes of the first few series.  The identity of his father has remained unknown. One reference to him exists in the anime. During a phone conversation between Ash and his mother in the second episode, she states to her amazement that he got from Pallet Town to Viridian City in one day. "It took your father four days to get there when he started Pokémon training", she says, "He'll be so proud!". A line from the play, Pokémon Live!, suggests that Delia, at one time, had a relationship with the leader of Team Rocket, Giovanni when she was a teenager, but in the anime, no evidence of Giovanni being Ash's father has been shown currently.  In the episode "Showdown at Dark City," Ash went by the name of Tom Ato (tomato) after spotting some ketchup that Pikachu was eating. He had to disguise his name, so that his real name would not get a bad reputation, since he was dealing with the rivaling Yas and Kas gyms.

Satoshi

Serena is a new trainer who is just starting her journey. Her goal is to be a Rhyhorn racer, to follow in her mother's footsteps, but she has since taken to making PokéPuffs. She's a compassionate person, often taking care of her mother's Rhyhorn. Back in the past, she had some history with Ash when he helped her after she had been inadvertently attacked by a Poliwag, and she is interested in fashion. Satoshi and Pikachu have arrived in Miare City of the illustrious Kalos region to capture more Pokemon and continue their journey towards becoming the very best. Meanwhile, a genius inventor named Citron and his little sister Eureka wander the city when they run into Satoshi who quickly challenges them to a battle. However, they are soon caught up in a dangerous incident when Team Rocket, following Satoshi into Kalos, cause a Gaburias to rampage through the city.
Far away in the quiet Asame Town, a young girl named Serena slogs through daily Sihorn riding practice at the behest of her mother, a professional Sihorn racer. After practice, she sees the events unfolding in Miare City on television where she recognizes a boy from her childhood. Having left a significant impact on her life, the sight of him stirs in her a desire to meet him again; and so, Serena sets off to Miare City, determined to find the boy from her past.Pokemon XY follows the group as they travel throughout Kalos in pursuit of their ambitions—Satoshi challenging Pokemon gyms, Citron learning from Satoshi, and Serena searching for what exactly her dream is. Along the way, they meet new friends, face new rivals, and continue to thwart Team Rocket's schemes, all the while discovering a little about the mysteries of mega evolution.

Pokemon XY: Hakai no Mayu to Diancie

The story is set in Diamond Ore Country, of which Diancie is the princess.This is a country located deep underground, where the Pokémon Carbink live together in peace. The energy source of this country is a giant diamond called the Sacred Diamond, which can only be created by princess Diancie. However, the current princess doesn't yet possess the power to create such a diamond, and the current Sacred Diamond's power is soon going to run out, which would result in the end of the country. Diancie meets up with Ash and Pikachu, and set off together with them to search for the legendary Pokemon Xerneas, which possesses sacred power, but on the way, they find the cocoon where the Destruction Pokémon, Yveltal, who was said to have once destroyed life in Kalos, lies in wait.
