Pokemon Advanced Generation: Rekkuu no Houmonsha Deoxys

Satoshi and his friends travel to LaRousse, where they meet a boy named Tooi who is afraid of Pokemon due to an incident that happened four years earlier. Meanwhile, Deoxys, a Pokemon from space, has reappeared, putting a barrier around the city and kidnapping people. Rayquaza, a Pokemon that lives in the atmosphere, comes to fight it.

Deoxys is a species of Pokémon from Nintendo's and Game Freak's Pokémon media franchise. The result of an extraterrestrial virus's exposure to a laser beam, Deoxys frequently appears around auroras. It is recognized as a Legendary Pokémon of the third generation. It exists in four forms: Attack, Defense, Speed, and Normal, which differ by base stat values, effort value yield, and appearance.  Deoxys first appeared in the 2004 video games Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, accessible via a Nintendo promotional event. It has since appeared in several video games and the Pokémon anime series. The character has also been featured in official merchandise and a collaboration with NASA, and has received positive remarks from critics.  Its name is contracted from the term deoxyribonucleic acid, the long-form name of DNA. The character is associated with auroras, and frequently appears with them.  Deoxys emerged from an extraterrestrial virus after exposure to a laser beam. It has a crystalline organ on its chest which is considered to serve as its brain and can also eject lasers. Overall, it has an agile body configured for speed. Deoxys is unique among Pokémon for its ability to change freely between forms, of which it has four: Attack, Defense, Speed, and Normal. These forms differ by base stat values, effort value yield, and appearance. In the Game Boy Advance games, Deoxys's Forme depended on the game version it was in. Meanwhile, Deoxys's form is changed in later games by having it in the player's party and: touching certain meteorites in Veilstone City in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum; interacting with meteorites on Route 3 in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver; or inspecting the meteorite in the Nacrene City museum in Pokémon Black and White.

Deoxys

May, known as Haruka in Japan, is a character in the Pokémon franchise, a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, toys and other media created by Satoshi Tajiri.  In the anime, May is usually seen wearing a red bandanna with a white Poké ball logo, a red-and-blue shirt, a pair of white, blue-tipped gloves, a pair of red-themed shoes with a pair of matching black socks and a navy-blue pair of cycling shorts partially covered by a white miniskirt. She also wears a yellow pouch around her waist.  At the age of 10, May traveled from her hometown of Petalburg City to Littleroot Town to see Professor Birch, the authority on Pokémon in the Hoenn region. As a friend of her father's, he had agreed to give her one of three Pokémon; a Treecko, a Torchic, or a Mudkip, so that she could become a Pokémon Trainer. However, when she arrived, she found that the Hoenn Pokémon Professor had gone after an ill Pikachu belonging to Ash Ketchum. She went to look for the Professor, only to find him stuck in a tree and about to be attacked by a group of angry Poochyena, mirroring the beginning of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. His only hope was for May to get a Pokémon out of his bag and use it to fend off the Poochyena. However, May, who was inexperienced at commanding Pokémon, only got water sprayed in her face by the Mudkip she pulled out. Professor Birch then commanded the Mudkip and scared off the Poochyena. The experience was less than pleasant for May.  After they found Ash, the group was attacked by Team Rocket. In an attempt to get rid of the criminals, Pikachu accidentally fried May's bicycle to a crisp, reminiscent of the first episode of the series in which Pikachu fried Misty's bike, giving Misty a reason to follow Ash around for the rest of the series. The audience was led to believe that May would decide to follow Ash for the very same reason. However, the next morning, after choosing Torchic as her starter Pokémon, May stared at the charred remains of her bike in a remorseful fashion, only to shrug it off and say, "Eh, who cares?" She decided to accompany Ash so that she could have a traveling companion to show her the ropes.  When the group reaches Rustboro City, May decided that instead of collecting gym badges, she would dedicate her efforts completely to Pokémon Contests. Since then, she has won several ribbons in most of the Contest halls she has traveled to. May has a rivalry with a Pokémon coordinator named Drew (or ShÅ« in Japanese), who appears at every contest that May participates in, which is often compared to the rivalry that Ash had shared with Gary Oak. She also has a rivalry with a Cacturne obsessive named Harley. While Ash and Brock went to Sinnoh, May chose to follow her rivals to Johto instead.  Current Pokemon on Her Team:  Blaziken (evolved from Combusken, which evolved from Torchic.) Munchlax (caught.) Wartortle (evolved from squirtle, given to by Prof. Oak when in Kanto.) Glaceon (evolved from Eevee in Snowpoint city, hatched from Pokemon Egg.)  Other Pokemon:  Beautifly (evolved from Silcoon, which evolved from Wurmple.) Skitty (caught.) Venusaur (evolved from Ivysaur, which evolved from Bulbasaur, both at unknown times, caught.)

Haruka

He's the little brother of Haruka. He doesn't have PokÃ©mon because he isn't 10 years or older. He always carries along his PokÃ©Nav to find their way.

Masato

Pikachu is an Electric Type mouse Pokemon given to Satoshi (Ash in the English version) as a last choice since he was late getting to Professor Oak's lab the day he was to be given his first Pokemon. At first Pikachu avoided Satoshi, shocking him every time he had a chance. He soon warms up to Satoshi after he saves him from wild Spearows. These two soon grow a bond stronger than any others. Pikachu does not like to be kept inside his Pokeball, and is usually seen riding on Satoshi/Ash's shoulder as they travel together.

Pikachu

Character Tory is a young boy who lives in LaRousse City, a futuristic city in Hoenn that relies completely on technology. He is also the son of the head scientist in LaRousse, Professor Lund.   History Four years prior to the main events of the film, Professor Lund took Tory with him on an investigative trip to the Arctic. When a meteorite carrying Deoxys crashed, the impact disrupted a pack of nesting Walrein and caused a stampede. Tory was surrounded by the Walrein and, as a result, became deeply traumatized and found himself terrified of Pokémon. Four years on, Tory's fear of Pokémon still lingered, despite the fact he loved them. However, he had befriended an odd cosmic entity that hid in his father's large laboratory. This would later be revealed to be a spiritual form of a second Deoxys, and the first's friend.  While in the city's Battle Tower, Tory ran into Ash and his Pikachu. Frightened by the presence of Pikachu, Tory raced into an elevator, but Ash dove through the doors at the last moment and tried to ask the stunned boy where the battle floor was, all while Tory backed in a corner. He escaped, Ash but ended up in a two-on-two battle alongside him. Ash lent him his Torkoal, but the battle didn't run incredibly smoothly - Pikachu and Torkoal were defeated easily and Tory became scared by a spinning and looming Blastoise, which reminded him of his encounter with the Walrein.  Tory wandered off (after escaping Ash) and encountered a Plusle and a Minun. The Minun had its head stuck in a bin. Tory helped free it but when the two Pokémon attempted to show their gratitude by hugging him, he freaked out and ran to his father's lab. Ash and Pikachu followed and questioned him about who he talks to (the Deoxys). Tory replied that it was "none of their business" and walked off, but was frightened by a flock of Wingull and fell over. When Ash tried to help him, Tory was again frightened by Pikachu and accidentally knocked Ash over as he scrambled to his feet. Ash finally lost his temper as a result and seized Tory by his shirt collar, but the timely arrival of May, Max and Brock prevented a conflict between the two, and they invited Tory for lunch.  That night, Tory met his friends again with a box of Pokémon cookies, and a fun night involving all the Pokémon followed. The next day, Deoxys began searching for its companion, while Tory and the others were trapped in the city. Several of the group were captured, including the Minun. Tory tried to comfort the Plusle, but his fear got the better of him. Tory helped to restore order and revived the second Deoxys. Teaming up with Ash, Pikachu, and the reunited Plusle and Minun, Tory gave Ash his pass card in order to stop the malfunctioning info cubes. Ash succeeds. Tory, Plusle and Minun are suspended high on top the Battle Tower, but Plusle and Minun lose their balance and fall. Tory dove after them and grabbed them as they fell. The trio are saved by the second Deoxys. Reunited with his father and friends, Tory overcame his fear of Pokémon, and as a result, Plusle and Minun became his new friends. He then said farewell to the two Deoxys who returned to deep space. It is presumed Tory eventually becomes a Pokémon Trainer with Plusle and Minun as his starters.   (Source: Bulbapedia)

Tooi Rondo

Ash Ketchum, known as Satoshi in Japan, is a fictional character and protagonist of the anime Pokémon. There are also incarnations of him in the Electric Tale of Pikachu manga, the Pocket Monsters Zensho manga, and the Ash &amp; Pikachu manga. He is loosely based on the male protagonist of the Pokémon Red and Blue. The family name "Ketchum" is a pun of the anime's former tagline and slogan "Gotta catch 'em all!".  At the beginning of the series, Ash was 10 years old, and later, in the episode "The Battle Of The Badge", Ash said that it was a whole year since he and Pikachu had visited Viridian City, making him 11. Furthermore, in the short called "Pikachu &amp; Pichu" which was attached to Pokémon 3: The Movie, he said the day when the events depicted in the short took place was the day he met Pikachu, meaning his age at that time would be at least 12. However, two seasons later, the official Japanese Pokémon website reported that Ash was the same age as May, who was 10 years old at the time. This and the fact that the two are at the same height suggests that none of the characters have aged since the show began, placing the Pokemon anime in a floating timeline.  Ash is a caring and valiant trainer but he can be confident to the point of arrogance and is known for being stubborn at times. He also has quite the reckless streak, which has led him to troublesome situations and even near death. But when in a Pokémon battle, he is highly competitive, and he shows tremendous presence of mind, taking advantage of the battlefield as well the nature of his and the enemy Pokémon's moves to claim victory after victory, though he has been known to lose from time to time.  Ash has matured greatly over the course of the series, and has considerably improved his abilities as a trainer, but his earnestness and determination remain the same. During the first season of the series, Ash trained to catch more Pokémon than his childhood rival, Gary Oak, although Gary has caught more. He soon begins to focus more on each of his Pokémon's abilities. He also impresses many trainers by winning battles in which his Pokémon has a type disadvantage. At the Johto League Silver Conference Ash finally won a battle against Gary.  Throughout the anime, Ash has met a number of rivals, including Richie, whom he faced in the Indigo League, and Casey, a diehard Electabuzz fanatic. During Pokémon tournaments, Ash has made rivals out of Harrison, Jackson, Morrison, and Tyson (the last of which went on to become the champion of the Hoenn Pokémon league). Near the beginning of Pokémon: Diamond &amp; Pearl, Ash meets an arrogant young trainer named Paul, who quickly becomes his new rival.  Ash's primary nemesis is a group of comical antagonists named Team Rocket. Ever since the second episode, "Pokémon Emergency!", two Team Rocket operatives named Jessie and James, along with a talking Meowth, have always tried to steal his first Pokémon Pikachu but have always failed. There are some occasions when they work together like the Pokémon: The Movie 2000.  Ash's mother is Delia Ketchum (Hanako in Japan). She is a caring and thoughtful woman, though occasionally oblivious as her son, and in the English version of the anime often pesters him to change his boxer shorts every day, a gag throughout the early episodes of the first few series.  The identity of his father has remained unknown. One reference to him exists in the anime. During a phone conversation between Ash and his mother in the second episode, she states to her amazement that he got from Pallet Town to Viridian City in one day. "It took your father four days to get there when he started Pokémon training", she says, "He'll be so proud!". A line from the play, Pokémon Live!, suggests that Delia, at one time, had a relationship with the leader of Team Rocket, Giovanni when she was a teenager, but in the anime, no evidence of Giovanni being Ash's father has been shown currently.  In the episode "Showdown at Dark City," Ash went by the name of Tom Ato (tomato) after spotting some ketchup that Pikachu was eating. He had to disguise his name, so that his real name would not get a bad reputation, since he was dealing with the rivaling Yas and Kas gyms.

Satoshi

Takeshi is known as "Brock" in the English Pokémon series.  He is the former gym leader of Nibi (Pewter) City who gives up his position to travel with Satoshi (Ash) and Kasumi (Misty) on their journey to catch Pokémon. He aspires to become a top class breeder. He has a weakness for pretty girls and ends up either getting dragged away by Kasumi, Max or stabbed by his Croagunk.  At the end of Diamond and Pearl, he's decided to part ways from Dawn and Ash to become a Pokemon Doctor.

Takeshi

Rebecca, along with her friends Rafe, Sid, Audrey, and Kathryn, came to LaRousse City to compete at the Battle Tower. There she met Ash Ketchum and his friends, and when a mysterious aurora borealis appears over the city, she begins studying it to discover more about the unusual phenomenon along with Professor Lund's assistant Yuko. When she and her friends are introduced to Tory Lund, he took them to a special garden where he would go to have conversations with his special friend, she soon grew interest in Tory's mysterious friend. When Deoxys attacked the city, Rebecca and the others took refuge in Professor Lund's lab, and she realized that Tory's friend had the same energy pattern as the mysterious aurora. Rebecca later helped to restore power to the city to help regenerate a second Deoxys' body, having her Metagross use Psychic to turn a windmill.   She made a second appearance in the opening of Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea, where she could be seen fighting Brendan's Swampert with her Tyranitar.   Rebecca makes a cameo appearence in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum on Route 224 as a female Ace Trainer using a level 56 Metagross. She mentions using her laptop to analyze battles in her speech. However, this easter egg was not recognized by the translation team of Diamond and Pearl, which named her Jamie.

After participating in the Johto League, Ash decides to begin anew in yet another journey; this time by himself and Pikachu, in the land of Hoenn. Though he isn't alone for long, as 10-year-old May (whom dislikes Pokemon, but just wants to come along to see the world) travels with him after Pikachu destroys her bicycle. Ash also meets up with his old companion, Brock, and May's younger brother, Max. Together, they travel along in Hoenn, battling Gym Leaders, entering Contests, and other events on the way to the Hoenn League.
