Yu☆Gi☆Oh! Zexal Second

The continuation of Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal. 
A new enemy has been revealed - Barian. They wish to gather the "Numbers" and destroy the Astral World to avoid their own world's destruction. As such, Yuma and his friends are their prime target, and the Barian begin to slowly enter Heartland City.

A mysterious spirit that Yuma encounters, who only Yuma can see or hear. He is a duel genius and offers his wisdom to Yuma, whose duel tactics are lacking, in order to obtain the 99 Numbers Cards which contain fragments of his memories.

Astral

Ryoga's younger twin sister. Rio once dueled IV who was operating under the orders of Tron. He played a card, "Flaming Hell Blessing", that set the surrounding area on fire. She was critically injured in the blaze and remained in the hospital for the entire first series. After the incident, Ryoga swore to avenge his younger sister, aiming his hatred towards IV.  She recovers in the second series and is able to return to school again. Rio stays strong and prefers to defend herself for her brother Ryoga, fearing his many enemies will use her to get to him. She is a confident and adamant person, getting annoyed when things do not go her way. She is also a skilled duelist who uses an ice-themed deck. Despite all of this, Rio is extremely frightened of cats.   Rio is later revealed to be Merag, a member of the Seven Barian Emperors, who became determined to follow her brother no matter what happened to them and sided with the Barian World. She was absorbed by Vector after losing a Duel to him. She was later revived after Yuma and Astral's Duel. Known as Merag, she was once the priestess as well as the princess of the United Lands of the Poseidon Ocean alongside her brother, Nasch. One day, the kingdom was attacked by Vector, who led a fleet of ships and several "Gorgonic Guardians" to lay waste to it and loot it. After Nacsh led the kingdoms forces to defeat the Gorgonic Guardians with mirror shields, Vector performed a blood sacrifice to the ocean god, Abyss, turning the battle back into his favor. Merag rode up to Abyss and was grabbed. She offered herself as a sacrifice, plunging into the ocean depths to revive another god. This action was due to Don Thousand hypnotizing her. As she owned a card called "Numbers 94: Crystal Zero, the Princess of Polar Ice", Thousand influenced her death to aide in his own revival.  An unknown number of years later, Don Thousand reincarnated both her and her brother as two of the Seven Barian Emperors, as their souls were each connected to a Legendary "Number" card, which had sealed Thousand's power. The two became the leaders of the Seven Barian Emperors. Vector had also been reborn as a Barian Emperor and often clashed with Nasch's leadership. After Nasch had annoyed him enough to score 100,000,000 points on his self-made point system, Vector took Merag hostage. When Nasch intervened, Vector used "Giant Sky Sword" to freeze Nasch's body and force both of them to jump off a cliff. Vector believed them dead, while Durbe believed they had vanished and assumed leadership of the group from them in the interim. The two were rescued by Abyss, who informed them that he would send them to Earth, where their souls would find new bodies to inhabit. The process would eliminate their memories though, until they reunited with Abyss again. Rio Kamishiro

Ryouga is one of Yuuma's close friends and rivals. After being disqualified from the National Duel Circuit, Ryouga became bitter and uncaring, the way he held himself at the beginning of the series. Cold and malicious, Ryouga flaunts his power by taking the Decks of the people he defeats. Once he's defeated by Yuuma in the second episode, and the 'numbers' possessing him is taken, he returns to his more humble self.  Ryouga holds an intense hatred towards IV for setting him up to be disqualified and implying that he intentionally hurting his younger sister. After learning this from IV himself, he entered World Duel Carnival and became more cold and more brutal to any duelist he challenges, even considering Yuuma his enemy. Originally born as Nasch, he was once the ruler of the United Lands of the Poseidon Ocean alongside his sister, Merag and was well-loved by his people. One day, his kingdom was attacked by Vector, who led a fleet of ships and several "Gorgonic Guardians" to lay waste to it and loot it. Nasch ordered a counterattack, arming his soldiers with mirror shields which turned the gorgons' abilities against them. Vector performed a blood sacrifice in response, calling forth the ocean god, Abyss, turning the tide of the battle again. Merag rode up to Abyss and was grabbed by him. Despite the intervention of Nasch's friend, a knight named Durbe, Merag did not want to be saved and sacrificed herself to call forth another god to purify Abyss.  After Merag's funeral, Nasch declared an attack on Vector's kingdom in retribution, as the latter has fled with the god turned to Nasch's side. Once they got to a town ravaged by Vector's army, Nasch noticed a little girl crying, who strongly resembled Merag. Nasch took the young girl, Iris, under his care and wondered if she was his deceased sister's reincarnation or if she was sent by Merag herself. As Nasch and his army pursued Vector, Nasch grew close to Iris and planned to confront Vector by himself once the battle started. On war front, Nasch followed Vector to a secret tunnel in what would eventually become a Number ruins, where Vector challenged him to a Game of Darkness. Per the Duel's rules, the more monsters of either ruler that were sent to the Graveyard, the more soldiers their army would lose. Though Nasch was victorious, his entire army was lost due to Vector's mill strategy. Their souls were sent to the Barian World. Vector barely survived and limped back to his own country, prompting Nasch to follow him. There, he found Vector had killed all of his own people. He also witnessed Vector being dragged to the afterlife by the people he murdered  An unknown number of years later, Don Thousand reincarnated both he and his sister as two of the Seven Barian Emperors, as their souls were each connected to a Legendary "Number" card, which had sealed Thousand's power. Nasch then became the leader of the Seven Barian Emperors, much to Vector's disdain (also having been reborn as a Barian Emperor). After Nasch had annoyed him enough to score 100,000,000 points, Vector enacted his revenge by taking Merag hostage. When Nasch intervened, Vector used "Giant Sky Sword" to open a bottomless rift. He then pushed Merag from the cliff, forcing Nasch to follow after her only for the two to be sucked into the rift. The two were rescued by Abyss, who informed them that he would send them to the Human World without their memories, where their souls were then revived in the bodies of Kamishiro Ryouga and Rio, who had recently died in a car accident. Ryouga Kamishiro

Kotori is a very cheerful girl with the ability to manipulate computers. She is protective and fiercely loyal to Yuuma, as she admires his unwavering will and determination of constantly challenging himself. Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal Tenjou Kaito is a Number Hunter. He was originally a nice person, but when his brother Tenjou Haruto fell sick, Dr. Faker told him that it was due to the Number holders and the Astral World, thus Kaito turned evil trying to seek out the holder of The Emperor's Key which would lead him to Astral.  Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V Kaito in Arc-V is an alternative version of his Zexal counterpart. He was a famous professional duelist in the Xyz Dimension's Heartland City before the invasion of Duel Academy, after which he becomes a member of the Resistance. After his family was sealed into cards by Duel Academy, Kaito abandoned the Resistance and began a one-man vendetta against Duel Academy, vowing to seal thousands of its soldiers into cards and earning a bounty on his head as a result. Kaito Tenjou

Yuuma Tsukumo is the main character of Zexal. Yuuma lives with his older sister and grandmother, because he lost his parents, who were archaeologists. A necklace that his parents gave him seems to hold many secrets. His dad also left him with his deck. Despite the lack of parents, Yuuma is usually a happy and energetic child, who hates unfairness and cares about his friends. He never gives up and always shoots for the top. Unfortunately, he doesn't always make it. His goal is to become the world champion of dueling and has some of the cards he needs to do so, but, unfortunately, he is not a very good card player. Because of this drawback, he will often put himself in a tough position, such as facing against his tough future rival, Shark Ryouga. Yuuma teams up with the mysterious Astral, who is conveniently a dueling genius. Even though Astral tries to help Yuuma, he often does not listen because of his extreme stubbornness and wrongful pride. Although they have conflicting personalities, Yuuma needs to learn to work with Astral, and put aside his pride or he will never be a dueling champion.

Yuuma Tsukumo

Abyss is Number's Guardian, entrusted with two Mythyrian "Numbers" within an underwater temple. He is a mighty sea god and the spirit form of "Number 73: Abyss Splash"

Attack of the Barians, Part 1

As peace returns to Heartland City following the World Duel Carnival, Astral, who has collected 50 of the 100 original Number cards at this point, receives a strange vision from within Yuma's key. Meanwhile, an emissary sent by Dumon from the Barian World, named Girag, arrives in Heartland City, and brainwashes a gang of bikers to follow under him, using the spell card Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force. His appearance revokes a reaction from Shark's sister, Rio. As Yuma, Shark and Tori go to check up on Rio, she utters something about someone planning to take something important, reminding Yuma of the words he heard when first activated the powers of his key. Just then, Yuma receives word that the biker gang's leader, Fender, has attacked his school, demanding he brings his Numbers. Fearing Astral could be put in danger, Yuma leaves his key with Tori as he heads to the school and confronts Fender. As the duel begins, Fender instantly summons his Xyz monster, Mechquipped Angineer. As Astral senses Yuma is in danger, Utopia sends itself over to Yuma, allowing him to summon it and deal some damage. Just then, Fender activates the spell card Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force to perform a Chaos Xyz Evolution on his Angineer, to upgrade it to the Chaos Xyz Monster Mechquipped Djinn Angeneral, and steal Utopia's Overlay Units. 

Attack of the Barians, Part 2

Angeneral manages to destroy Utopia, despite not being a Number, causing real damage to both Yuma and Astral. Astral makes contact with Tori, asking her to bring the key to Yuma. As Kite and Shark hold off Fender's lackies, Yuma takes more damage from Fender. Tori delivers the key to Yuma, who explains the dreams he's been having to Astral. Encouraging Yuma to stand up and fight with him, Astral gives him the advice needed to bring out Utopia Ray and defeat Fender. After the duel, Kite and Shark reveal they have dealt with all of Fender's allies, while Orbital knocks Fender out, removing the control that Barian World had on him. As Yuma, Shark, and Kite decide to team up to face this new enemy, a mysterious student watches them from the shadows. 

Hard Knox

On his way to school, Yuma encounters an overly-positive, well-meaning transfer student named Ray Shadows and ends up getting dragged around by him. Meanwhile, a pro duelist named Devon Knox visits the school to have duels with the students. When Yuma expresses his interest in dueling him, Ray takes it upon himself to try and find Devon and convince him to duel. However, Devon is possessed by Girag and violenty duels against Ray to get Yuma's attention. Yuma begins a duel with him and summons out Number 34: Terror-Byte whilst Devon summons out his ace monster, Giantrainer. After using its effect damaging abilities, one of which backfires against him, Devon uses Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force on Giantrainer to upgrade it into the Chaos Xyz monster Ultimatrainer, using its ability to test Yuma's drawing luck. Yuma manages to survive the effect and use the monster cards he was forced to discard against Devon before bringing out Utopia Ray and winning the duel, freeing Devon from the Barians' control. 

Rule Duel

After Ray nominates him, Yuma is chosen as the next class president, much to Caswell's dismay. The Student Council President, Carlyle Chesterton, who is under Girag's command, assigns Caswell as a "Special Disciplinary Commander", who begins enforcing harsh rules on the students. As Yuma decides he has had enough and confronts Carlyle, he challenges him to a duel, with Caswell as the referee, throwing in all sorts of rules which obstruct Yuma's dueling. Carlyle summons his Xyz Monster, Norito the Moral Leader, and deals some damage to Yuma, though he manages to find a workaround to Caswell's rules. As Caswell laments how he isn't class president anymore, Yuma reminds him of his true self, allowing him to throw away the role of disciplinary commander. Carlyle then uses Barian's Force to upgrade Norito into the Chaos Xyz monster, Saimon, the Great Moral Leader, but Yuma manages to bring out Utopia and win the duel. Afterwards, Yuma relinquishes his role as class president back to Caswell while Girag finds a new target to put under his control. 

The Adventures of Artimus Stanleyus

A manga artist named Art Stanley requests that Yuma and Shark be models for his manga, but Shark refuses. Unknown to them, Art is under the Barians' control, tailoring Shark to report his weakness to Girag. The next day, Shark discovers that Rio has gone missing and is confronted by Art, who challenges him to a duel. Art quickly summons his Xyz monster, Comics Hero King Arthur, and uses Rio as a means to stop Shark from fighting back, claiming she will become trapped forever if he is defeated. Believing Art's sketchbook may provide a hint to his weakness, Yuma and Ray set off in search for it. Meanwhile, Art forces Shark to summon out Shark Drake and deals a lot of damage before activating Barian's Force, ranking up King Arthur into the Chaos Xyz monster, Comics Hero Legend Arthur, using it to destroy Shark Drake. After some encouragement from Yuma, Sharks calls out to Rio and manages to both free her from captivity and awaken her. Shark soon regains his resolve and brings out Shark Drake Veiss to win the duel. 

Doom in Bloom

Rio starts attending Duel Academy, instantly becoming popular with the boys and proving embarrassing for Shark. As Rio manages to overwhelm any club offers with her amazing talent, she and the others are approached by the Flower Arrangement Club's president, Lotus Henazoe, who soons start putting everyone besides Yuma into a trance, revealing herself to be under Girag's control. As Lotus challenges Yuma to a duel, Rio decides to take her on in his place. Lotus summons her Xyz Monster, Battlecruiser Dianthus, and soon uses Barian's Force to upgrade it to the Chaos Xyz monster, Battleship Cherry Blossom, bringing Rio's life points down to 200. Rio soon summons her own Xyz monster, Zerofyne, and manages to use her cards to Lotus. 

Rivals in the Ring

Noticing Girag's repeated failures, Dumon sends another one of his disciples, Alito, to the Duel Academy, where he ends up getting a crush on Tori. Alito tries to make various attempts to woo Tori, but all of them are inadvertently thwarted by Yuma. Wanting to prove himself, Alito challenges Yuma to a duel, quickly summoning out his Xyz monster, Battlin' Boxer Lead Yoke, and soon realizes who he is up against. Yuma summons his Xyz monster, Gauntlet Launcher, and manages to win by countering Alito's own counters. After the duel, Alito takes a shining to Yuma and declares him his rival. 

The Friendship Games

When Ray makes an innocent suggestion to have a mascot girl for the Numbers club, the resulting arguments causes Tori, Cathy and the others to fall out with each other. Seeing an opportunity, Girag approaches Yuma, who is unaware of his connection to Barian World, and suggests they hold a sports duel tournament to help them make up. The tournament begins the next day, with Yuma and Shark's team pushing ahead while the team consisting of Tori and Cathy lags behind, though they manage to get over their fighting. As Girag arranges a duel between Yuma and Tori's teams, he puts Tori and Cathy under the Barian's control. With Shark going home for the day, Girag ends up getting drafted into Yuma's team, putting him in an awkward situation. Tori summons out her Xyz Monster, Fairy Cheergirl, and uses Barian's Force to upgrade it to the Chaos Xyz Monster, Dark Fairy Cheergirl. However, Yuma manages to summon Utopia and power it up with Girag's trap to win the duel, freeing the girls from the Barians' control.

Yu☆Gi☆Oh! Zexal follows the adventures of Yuuma Tsukumo in his hometown, the futuristic city of Heartland. Yuuma is an amateur duelist who wants to become the world's greatest Duel Monsters champion, having learned the basics of dueling from his father who disappeared long ago under mysterious circumstances. Always pushing himself to the limit in order to prove himself, Yuuma soon finds himself outmatched when dueling a bully to recover his friend's stolen cards. Just as hope seems lost, a mysterious spirit named Astral appears and helps Yuuma to win the duel.
Astral explains that his memories have been lost and split into 99 cards called Numbers that have been scattered all over the world. These Numbers are extremely dangerous; each card has a will of its own and can possess any duelist who uses it by bringing out the deepest, and often darkest, desires of that person's heart. Seeing that Astral is a skilled duelist and wanting to better himself, Yuuma reluctantly agrees to assist Astral in recovering the Numbers. But Yuuma and Astral are not the only Number Hunters out there and many of the other parties seeking these powerful cards have much more malicious desires than recovering lost memories.

Yu☆Gi☆Oh! Arc-V

Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V centers around Yuya Sakaki, as he tries to escape from harsh reality by smiling. But one Duel leads him to make a determination to confront the difficulties and he will get the power of infinite possibilities. The show's main theme is "Take a step forward with courage!!"
Yuya is a student at a preparatory school, learning to become an "entertainment Duelist," a type of professional Duelist.
The story is set in Miami City on the coast of Japan. Leo Corporation is run by its president Reiji Akaba. Thanks to the spread of the company's "Solid Vision with mass," "Action Duels" are born in Miami City and has reached worldwide popularity. Children look up to star-level Pro Duelists, and they learn Summoning and Duel styles at various large and small cram schools, including the You Show Duel School that Yuya attends and the largest of such schools, Leo Duel School (LDS).
