Son of a Yakuza family. He's intelligent but not an adept fighter. He likes sweet things, wants to marry a Yamato Nadeshiko and says he's the kind of person who has to do it absolutely correctly when he puts his mind into something otherwise he can't be satisfied.  Raku once got amnesia. He tried to save Chitoge from a wild ball that unintentionally aimed for her head. Unfortunately, it hit his head mercilessly. He was unconscious and then woke up a second later. He did not recognize anyone, even though all of his friend were beside him. He became a really sincere person. He charmed everyone who talked to him—even Chitoge, Tsugumi, Tachibana, and of course Onodera. During his amnesia period, he stayed at Chitoge's mansion. After some quarrel with Chitoge, it seemed like he hinted about the one who holds a key. It was also unclear though because he immediately regained his memory. The hint regarding the girl who holds the key to his locket is "the girl's eyes were either brown or black but not blue."   In the end, Raku realises that he has feelings for Chitoge, rather than Onodera. While Onodera confesses to him, and turns out to be the girl of the promise, he rejects her confession. He tells Chitoge that he loves her, and she confirms that their feelings are both mutual.

Raku Ichijou

Chitoge is very smart and completely fluent in both English and Japanese despite growing up in America. She is half-Japanese. She is somewhat forgetful, aggressive and quick to attack someone who gets on her nerves. Once you get to know her though, she becomes very talkative and friendly.  She is very bad at cooking because she never measures ingredients and adds random things she thinks will make the dish taste better. She is very athletic as she can easily jump over the school's walls and swim 25 meters in a couple of seconds.  Ever since she was a child she has had a hard time making friends as others were afraid of her gangster family and as a result she had a cold demeanor toward people at the start of the series due to Claude's over protectiveness. This led her to create notebooks filled with information on classmates in an attempt to make friends.  The red ribbon in her hair is a first gift from her mother. She really loves it and always wears it instead of another ribbon; however, her relationship between her mother is getting cold because her mother is really busy woman who leads a ton of companies. Raku knows it well and tries to break the ice during the Christmas eve. Finally her mother notices that Chitoge doesn't hate her even though she never pays attention to her.  In the manga, she gradually starts to fall in love with Raku because of his kindness although she does not show it. She has a gentle spot for Raku (sometimes).  Later in the manga, her father is looking at an old photo album from 10 years ago. It has been revealed that Chitoge had brown eyes when she was younger and turned blue as she grew up. Chitoge Kirisaki

Age: 15-17 Birthday: June 15 Height: 157 cm Likes: Raku Ichijou, animals Abilities: Natural Affinity for Animals, Japanese sweets decoration  She is one of the main characters in the manga series Nisekoi. She is shown to have a crush on Raku Ichijou, the male protagonist of Nisekoi, and is also the only girl that Ichijou openly has feelings for.   Onodera is discreet, innocent, and slightly timid. She is very kind, she takes care of Ichijou when he is wounded or ill. Generally, she opts to think carefully before acting, as seen when she stalls her confession to Ichijou in consideration that he may have feelings for Kirisaki.  In confrontation with Ichijou, Onodera lacks confidence, initially needing encouragement from Miyamoto to attempt confessing her love.  Onodera works well with her classmates, possessing close friends and being the most popular girl for the boys before Kirisaki transferred and after Kirisaki and Ichijou allegedly began dating.   Both Kosaki and Ichijou are completely unaware that the feelings they hold for each other are mutual. Like in many average fictional love stories, these two try not to show their feelings to each other. She loves Raku because he is kind and caring. Just like the other girls who like him, she can be jealous as well but not to the point of having bloodlust. She often worries/wonders whether Raku and Chitoge's "fake relationship" is actually developing into something more than just that.   Chitoge and Onodera have a really trusting relationship. It can even be considered that they are best friends since Chitoge only tells her problems to her (except in some cases, Raku as well). Despite her knowing that Chitoge and Raku are only pretending to date, she at times can't help but be suspicious of their relationship.   It is revealed at the end of the manga that she is in fact the girl that Raku promised to marry as a child. Suzu Ayakaji

Honda is Marika's personal attendant and police escort. She monitors Marika and at times advises her to not overexert herself due to her frail condition.  In chapter 195, it is revealed that her name before gaining her title as a shinobu is Youko.

Shinobu Honda

Although Shuu appears to be playful, he is actually very sensitive. He was the first one who realized that Chitoge and Ichijou were not actually dating. Also, he was the only one who seemed to realize that Tsugumi was a girl, though he hid the thought and decided to play along just for his own amusement. Also, it should be noted that Shuu is the kind of person that would do almost anything for a laugh. He is the best friend of Raku Ichijou.  He is in love with his English teacher, Kyoko. He confesses just before her departure for her wedding.

Shuu Maiko

Age: 16 Likes: meat dishes Dislikes: Haru's friendliness, vegetables, studying, vaccination shots  Paula is an assassin for the Beehive gang who has trained in America; her alias is "White Fang." She is a colleague of Tsugumi, whom she considers her rival as she has finished second to her in many missions. She is upset that Tsugumi has gotten soft after going to Japan.
